The Ambassador of India to the Republic of Armenia Yogeshwar Sangwan was hosted at the University of Traditional Medicine. This was his first visit to the University.

On the 6th of March, 2018, German specialist Professor Dr.med. Alaa el Din Elsharkawy gave a public lecture in the University of Traditional Medicine. The topic was “Surgical Treatment of Headaches”.

he National Center for Professional Education Quality Assurance Foundation (ANQA) carried out a systematic monitoring of quality assurance systems at the University of Traditional Medicine on January 19, 2011, according to the Government's decisions on “The Accreditation Procedure for Educational Institutions and their Specialties” and “Institutional Accreditation Standards”.

On July 12-20, 2017 Anna Melikyan, Head of the UTM Foreign Students Department, presented our university at the educational exhibitions held in Sulaimani and Erbil, Iraqi Kurdistan province.
