Public lecture “Surgical Treatment of Headaches”

On the 6th of March, 2018, German specialist Professor Dr.med. Alaa el Din Elsharkawy gave a public lecture in the University of Traditional Medicine. The topic was “Surgical Treatment of Headaches”.

Professor Elsharkawy is currently working as Consultant of spine surgery in Bonifatius-Hospital, Lingen, Germany and as Co-Director at spine research center at Bonifatius-Hospital, Lingen, Germany.

Dr. Elsharkawy’s clinical interests are epilepsy surgery and spine endoscopy. He is also principal investigator of several ongoing clinical studies in spine surgery in Lingen, Germany. He completed his doctoral education through the MD program of the high Medical school in Hannover, Germany. He received the Lilly Award for quality of life research.
