The University of Traditional Medicine, by providing higher professional medical education, staying true to its mission and policies, improves its position year by year in both the Armenian and international higher medical education systems.

The Model United Nations (MUN) is an academic simulation that mimics the format of the United Nations, where students take on the roles of diplomats to discuss current global issues, draft resolutions, and develop diplomacy and negotiation skills. The University of Traditional Medicine recently hosted its first MUN conference, which was a resounding success.

On November 12, the University of Traditional Medicine, Indian Students' Welfare Association and Campus International organized a "Freshers’ party" for students.The event was attended by the university's administration and staff, employees of "Campus International," Aditya Kumar Pandey, the Second Secretary of the Embassy of India in Armenia, other esteemed representatives of the embassy, Hayk Margaryan, a member of the executive board of ICC Armenia and CTCN, representatives of the Avan Cultural Center, Arkadi Alekyan, and others.

UTM continues its active efforts in internationalization and recruitment of potential foreign applicants in cooperation with its partners.

Recently, the ceremony of taking oath and handing out diplomas to the graduates of the "General Medicine" and "Dentistry" faculties of the UTMA took place for the academic year 2023-2024.

On March 28-29, a two-day training was organized on the topic of "Psycho-pedagogical approaches for teachers of medical institutions" on the initiative of the HRM and general department and the vice-rector of QA of UTM.

The working group, formed by the order of UTM Rector N. Saribekyan, was sent to Tbilisi Medical Academy in the Republic of Georgia from 04.09.2024 to 04.11.2024.
