The University of Traditional Medicine hosted the Consul of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan

On June 6, the University of Traditional Medicine hosted the Consul of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan to the Republic of Armenia, Mr. Ara Mkrtchyan, along with Consular Officer Ms. Sofya Poghosyan.

They held a meeting with the university leadership, walked around the university, and became acquainted with the academic environment, the university's educational programs, and the specifics of its learning process. They then met with Jordanian students, engaging in a warm and meaningful discussion focused on the students’ educational needs and expectations. The main focus of the meeting was the educational opportunities available to students both in Armenia and Jordan, as well as potential paths for bilateral future collaboration.

Several important topics were discussed, ranging from joint initiatives in the field of education to the development of tourism as a catalyst for education. The Consul particularly emphasized that increased tourism activity could contribute to strengthening bilateral educational ties.

Their visit was a unique opportunity for both the university leadership and the students to establish direct contact and open dialogue.

Both the UTM leadership and the Consul reaffirmed their readiness to support all initiatives aimed at advancing youth education and fostering international integration.
