Recently, students of the University of Traditional Medicine participated to the UTMA “Freshers` party”. There were the University administration and staff, representatives of the “Campus International" LLC and the Embassy of India in Armenia, guests, as well as students from different nationalities of the University.
Dean of the University of Traditional Medicine, Anahit Karapetyan, on behalf of the University administration, welcomed the audience and wished them good luck and expressed gratitude to the University Student Council, Director of "Campus International" Ashok Karuvarathodi and the Head of "Campus International" Admission Department Armine Nalbandyan for organizing, managing and supporting the event.
Highlighting the role of various events held during the years of studentship, the Dean mentioned that the UTMA is one of the most innovative universities in our country, where students from around 15 countries are studying. From this point of view, cultural, sports and other events contribute to consolidation of different nationalities, deepening friendly and friendly relations.
During the evening students of different nationalities represented their national dances, songs and music.
The ceremony was re-appreciated by another beautiful ritual. Five students of the General Medicine and Dentistry Departments of the University have been awarded the "Best Student" title: Hayk Kulijanyan, Fatemeh Doustdararabi, Sheba Mary Roymon, Shad Shwan Abdalla Abdalla, Advaith Uttuvally Shaji for outstanding academic progress in 2017-18 academic year.
Rector of UTMA Norik Saribekyan congratulated the contest winners and wished them success in their studies and handed the awards.
