Recently, the "Indian Students Association" has been established at the University of Traditional Medicine.

On February 13th, the University of Traditional Medicine hosted the representatives of the British organization "Education, Medicine, Europe".

On February 1st, the University of Traditional Medicine hosted the students of the "Iranian Massage Center".

he National Center for Professional Education Quality Assurance Foundation (ANQA) carried out a systematic monitoring of quality assurance systems at the University of Traditional Medicine on January 19, 2011, according to the Government's decisions on “The Accreditation Procedure for Educational Institutions and their Specialties” and “Institutional Accreditation Standards”.

On July 12-20, 2017 Anna Melikyan, Head of the UTM Foreign Students Department, presented our university at the educational exhibitions held in Sulaimani and Erbil, Iraqi Kurdistan province.

On the 30th of October German specialist Dr. med. Christoph Rüssel gave a lecture in the University of Traditional Medicine. The topic was “How “Man” becomes 100”.

On October 23, 2017 the University of Traditional Medicine held a seminar within the EU TEMPUS program with the representatives of the Biological department of the Yerevan State University: PHD in Biology S. Saakian, PHD in Biology M. Karapetyan and the head of YSU Biological Faculty, PHD in Biology A. Arakelyan.

There was a Student Chess Championship in March 10, 2017 where the foreign students also participated. The dean of the University (A. Karapetyan) greeted the participants and spoke about the Chess Championship to be a great chance for revealing our talented students.
