Chess championship

There was a Student Chess Championship in March 10, 2017 where the foreign students also participated. The dean of the University (A. Karapetyan) greeted the participants and spoke about the Chess Championship to be a great chance for revealing our talented students.
During the game all the students were in an active mood for winning medals. And the best players became:

• First place – Baraa Abdalla Mohammed (Faculty of Stomatology, II course)
• Second place – Hayk Kulijanyan (Faculty of Stomatology, III course)
• Third place – Hunan Kirakosyan (Faculty of Stomatology, III course)

The winners were got the cup, certificates and medals by the member of the Armenian Chess Federation, Avan’s children sport school director, Chess FIDE sport’s master Davit Hunanyan.
