Integrative Approach on Health

"Integrative Approach on Health": this was the theme of the event of TEDxUTMA held on March 15 at the University of Traditional Medicine. It comprehensively covered a wide variety of health-related aspects, from psychology and toxicology to tissue engineering and orthopaedics, from science and medical education to clinical practice. The speakers invited to the event were: the director of the L.A.Orbeli Institute of Physiology NAS RA, prof. N. Ayvazyan; clinical psychologist, lecturer, Dr. M. Naghdalyan; adjunct-assistant professor of the George Washington University Z. Karabekian; head of the Department of Orthopaedics and Traumatology of the NIH Armenia, founder of Gyumri Orthopedic School Dr. N. Zakharyan. In correspondence to the format, the event was meant to share "ideas worth spreading". In that context, it provided UTMA students and professionals, as well as invited guests, with an opportunity to acquire new knowledge, establish new connections and exchange innovative ideas. The TEDxUTMA event was organized as per the official TEDx event license (issued on December 4, valid for 1 year, event type: University, licensee: V.Grigoryan).
