TRADITIONAL MEDICINE UNIVERSITY WORKING GROUP VISIT TO THE UNITED ARAB EMIRATES

UTM continues its active efforts in internationalization and recruitment of potential foreign applicants in cooperation with its partners. One of the latest initiatives was a business trip by a working group formed by order of UTM’s Rector, N. Saribekyan, at the suggestion of the Director of the University's partner, Campus International LLC, Ashok Krishna. The group traveled to Dubai, United Arab Emirates, from October 25 to October 31, 2024. The working group included Vice-Rector for Quality Assurance and Career Development, A. Gyozalyan; Dean A. Karapetyan; Head of the Educational Department, A. Sargsyan; Head of HR and General Department, N. Tarjumanyan; Head of the Therapeutic Subjects Department, M. Nazlukhanyan; and Senior Quality Assurance Specialist, M. Hovsepyan. During the visit, the group attended the opening ceremony of the second office aimed at recruiting potential applicants for the University of Traditional Medicine. Meetings were held with the office head, Thulesi Das, who presented ongoing projects and future plans. Several important issues were discussed, including providing necessary information about the university, scheduling meetings with applicants and their parents, and establishing mechanisms for effective feedback on questions raised by applicants. Thulesi Das informed that an international expo titled "Education and Career" would be held in Dubai at the end of January 2025, with an invitation extended to UTMA as well. A preliminary agreement was reached to discuss this with UTMA Rector N. Saribekyan to arrange participation if possible.
