The University of Traditional Medicine hosted the 6th event of the “UTMA Open Science” series.

In October 2025, the University of Traditional Medicine hosted the 6th event of the “UTMA Open Science” series.

The invited speaker was Siranush Hovhannisyan, PhD, President of the Young Scientists Association of the National Academy of Sciences of Armenia, and Head of the Neurolinguistics Laboratory at the H. Acharyan Institute. She delivered an open lecture on neurolinguistics, exploring the connection between mental health and language. The lecture addressed how exploring the verbal thinking can help uncover links links with our mental health, and how verbal thinking can get changed disrupted in various psychological disorders. An interactive practical exercise was also conducted, which made the topic more engaging and illustrative for the audience. On behalf of the University, we would like to express our gratitude to the distinguished guest speaker for her informative and insightful lecture. The UTMA Open Science project is a series of events organized by the University of Traditional Medicine, featuring open lectures delivered by invited leading experts.
