The head of the Department of Science of the UTMA, Dr. Vahan S. Grigoryan participated in the International Forum of Young Inventors and Innovators

Recently, the head of the Department of Science of the UTMA, Dr. Vahan S. Grigoryan participated in the International Forum of Young Inventors and Innovators (IPforum International), which was held in Veliky Novgorod city, Russian Federation. During his participation, V.S.Grigoryan, as a representative of the scientific community of the Republic of Armenia, presented the scientific research projects that he is implementing together with colleagues, particularly in the field of three-dimensional bioprinting and tissue engineering. These technologies allow scientists to create viable biological tissues in laboratory conditions, that can be used in biomedical scientific experiments and for development of novel medical treatment approaches. During the Forum, Dr.Grigoryan participated in the EXPO event, presenting the products developed by their research group, made a report in the format of presentation, as well as gave an interview to “Russia-1” Russian State TV channel. The experience and key connections generated due to this participation will be used to strengthen the scientific potential of our University. The participation was fully funded by the Russian Federation.
