On September 9-13, 2022, Mr. Ashish Ganesh Bhoir, a 5th-year student of the UTMA Faculty of General Medicine, participated in an online format in the ESMO Congress held in Paris, as a representative of Armenia. He was specially invited by the upon the invitation of the European Society of Oncology (ESMO) to participate in this event. Since his first year of study at the University of Traditional Medicine, Ashish has actively participated in scientific projects in the field of oncology, both at the UTMA and at the Oncology Center in his home country, India. He has successfully carried out several student scientific works in this field. He has chosen oncology as the field of his future specialization. In particular, his specific fields of interest include Oncogynaecology, as well as Cancer in Pregnancy. "Participation in the congress was very exciting. I had the opportunity to get acquainted with novel methods and approaches in the field of oncology, innovative medications used for cancer treatment, as well as participated in discussions with leading European medical oncologists", - noted the student of UTMA. Participation in the Congress has been an important step for the professional career of the future doctor.
