"UTMA Open Science" is a series of open events and lectures by invited distinguished experts, with a goal of strengthening the connections between medical universities, research centers, healthcare practitioners, medical students and scientists. The project is organized by the Department of Science of the University of Traditional Medicine.
ABOUT THE EXPERT:
Our invited expert is Anna Shahinyan, Ph.D. Medical imaging AI specialist, quantum physicist, founder and CEO of FiveBrane company.
ABOUT THE TOPIC:
Medical imaging includes many precise, advanced, and routinely used objective evaluation methods, which provide valuable data for diagnosis of a vast variety of pathologies and medical conditions. Artificial intelligence (AI), in its turn, if integrated in medical imaging, can significantly increase diagnostic accuracy and efficiency, by providing an immense support to the radiologists and clinicians. AI integration can make the diagnosis quicker, more precise and more personalized. Machine learning and deep learning-based AI algorithms can analyze large amounts of data rapidly and, thus, are promising tools for healthcare.
