On November 16, within the framework of the 16th conference on public access in Berlin, a webinar will be held on author's rights when publishing articles in public repositories. Topic - Ensuring the protection of authors' rights when publishing in public repositories. Description - It is not uncommon for authors to be misled into signing a "Publication License" by forcing the author to unwittingly grant exclusive copyright to publishers, which goes against the core idea of open access publishing and the patents that support those principles. The webinar will address issues with current agreements and help understand how to prevent abuses by publishers, helping authors retain all rights to determine how their works are distributed and used.
