The University of Traditional Medicine recently hosted its first MUN conference, which was a resounding success.
The Model United Nations (MUN) is an academic simulation that mimics the format of the United Nations, where students take on the roles of diplomats to discuss current global issues, draft resolutions, and develop diplomacy and negotiation skills. The University of Traditional Medicine recently hosted its first MUN conference, which was a resounding success.
The event brought together delegates from various fields to discuss the legality of abortion, fostering meaningful dialogue and critical thinking. With dynamic debates, a surprise crisis scenario, and collaborative resolution drafting, the conference proved highly engaging and enhanced participants' critical thinking skills.
The chief organizer of the MUN was Fathema Zehra, a third-year student at the university.
